Resumo:
This paper describes an implementation of part of a digital audio transmitter / receiver system for low cost and power consuming applications where the receiver can be controlled via the transmitter. After analyzing the number of market circuits required to implement such a system, it was decided to implement an application specific integrated circuit. Several audio compression algorithms and digital modulation methods have been studied. The proposed digital architecture was implemented using the Verilog hardware description language. Finally, simulation results and FPGA mapping results are shown.
