Construção de saberes e fazeres versus desastre desertificação: o caso da Universidade Camponesa.

Abstract

The desertificacion is a disaster constructed socially, is a process of anthropic causes, whose complexity demands to multidiscipline research and of applicable practical matrix that assists the process of qualification for mitigation of the risks in the vulnerability areas. It was objectified with this work to observe and to follow the possibility of a process of education - learning to contribute in the improvement of the capacities of reflection of actresses and local actors on problematic social political and the ambient one who face, and collectively to construct and to implement alternative reals of combat and reduction of the risks to the disaster desertificacion in agricultural communities of the Cariri Paraiba, Brazil. The studies are part of the Project La Red, the Latin American Net of Social Studies, and had been carried through in the scope of the UniCampo Project - for the farmer university. The used delineation was the alternative research-action-participant while that it allows at the same time to generate new information on the searched subject and to enable critical citizens in the thematic one studied. Works of field had been carried through and used sources of primary and secondary information to feed collective and participativas reflections, with a composed group for 35 students and a pedagogical team to multidiscipline. It was observed that the didactic-pedagogical scene allowed fluency in the reflections and facilitated to the process of empowrment and qualification of students. The feeling of reality identification with the thematic one in day-by-day of its farmers activities was a motivation factor so that educandos and educandas was beyond the theoretical exercise and walked route to the exercises practical of the inquiry and the intervention in the fight against the desertificacion and for the construction of less aggressive systems of prodution of the environment, capable to guarantee the production for the supplying of the familiar nucleus in the gift and in for coming. Action in institutional arrangements with government organizations and associations of farmers had been constructed to three projects of research. They had been constructed and implemented six projects with sights to the sustainable production in agricultural communities and nestings.
