Résumé:
Data of discharge and sediment yield from two erosion plots and two micro-basins, kept bare cleared, located within the Experimental Basin of Sume in Paraiba satate, were utilised in the calibration of the parameters of the physically based event oriented model WESP in order to associate them with the physical conditions of the soil represented by the antecedent moisture contents. The relationship between the Kohler's index IH and Ns , the Green-Ampt function that depends on the soil moisture content and the matric potential, was
established using different coefficients to represent the antecedent conditions, with the best result obtained for 0,6. The parameters model w;ere then verified for one of the micro-basins. The results showed that the model is promising to simulated both discharge and sediment
yield.
