Résumé:
The deterministics hydrologies models of continuous simulation are
essential tools such estimating streamfiow at any watershed section, as accounting all hydrologic cicle process. The Kentucky University version model (KWM) of the Stanford Watershed Model (SWM-IV) was used in this study with the objetive to obtain the best-fit model parameters when applied in six watersheds of the brazilian Northeast
semi-arid region: tree sub-basin of the representative hydrologic watershed Sume/PB and the others in the watershed Riacho do Navio/PE. Model calibration was done by trial and error, in each hydrological year individualy, for all sub-basin. The problems observed in this study fase and the input data model requirements are exhaustively discussed. The sensitivity analysis of the model have be done to define values intervals for each parameter associated to the physicals watershed characteristcs, and to detect systematical errors due input data or model structure. The results of this study shown that KWM model aplication in hidrological catchments of the brazilian Northeast semi-arid region, requires input data that represent time and spatial variations of the precipitation in each topography, soil, geology and vegetation homogeneos zone.
