Résumé:
This work hasthe aim to check and produce ten vegetable extracts of
nine species of plants on the Paraiba's flora, making use of it to control the adult insect Sitophilus spp and the egg fase, and to avaliate the aplication forms as well: directly over the insect and with vapor, when adult. And, of egg, straight over the product, for it has benn one the biggest trouble about corn storing (Zea may. L). the extracts have been taken by cola method, with orange peel, flowers' seeds, pipper, eucalipto leaves, crave flowers, crisantemus, croton and macela. The efect ofthe extracts over the phisiolpgic quality of seeds was studied (corn BR 122), concernig a response to standard tests about germination, first germination. The biochecking of 2 n d , 3r d and 4t h Times korked according tothe whole casualized delineation. Checked in factorial with four repetitions to 2 n d fase and three to 3 n d and 4 t h
Fases. Four biocheckings were done with four extracts (croton, orange,
pipper and crisantemus) and two compositions (with and without alcohol P.A.). In the 4t h fase, two wraps were added to the 4 extracts and compositions described above (metal box and fabric bag). Tthe 1 s t fase which aimed to make clear the application method, and the exposition time of the extract over the insect sitophilus spp, as mentioned above, has not bee analized estatiscally. The results allowed us to conclude that: the most efficient application form was using vapor. The extract obtained from pipper was the most efficient to control the adult insect, followed with the organic substance alcohol P.A.. The phisiologic quality has not been afected by the direct application of the extracts over the seeds stored, except for the extract
derivated from croton, which had the germination and brightness decreased. The extracts didn't keep control efficiently the Sitophilus spp during it's egg fase.
