The Community Health Agent (CHA) acts as a facilitator in the process of interaction and host team of family health with the community attended, representing the largest and most complex workforce in health, and acting in the expansion and consolidation of Strategy Family Health in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the National Health System Considering the work environment and conducting home visits by ACS as important occupational risk factors, emerges the need to assess the condition of occupational health of ACS Cuité - PB, which is the objective of this research. This is an exploratory and descriptive quantitative conducted in five Family Health Units of said county during the month of March 2013. The sample comprises 30 ACS selected by the criterion of accessibility and data were collected using a questionnaire after approval of the Ethics Committee in Research of the University Hospital Alcides Carneiro on the advice number 258.312.The results were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively measures simple and exposed in frequency. The results indicate that most participants have between 36 and 50 years, is female, married, have completed high school, family income of a minimum wage, has over ten years of experience, is the micro area in which it operates, made training course for ACS, has its number of assisted families between 151 and 200 and performs 5-10 home visits per day. As for health problems stemming from work to lower limb pain, lower back pain, stress and solar dermatitis gained greater prominence. For occupational risks, animal attack, contact with infectious persons and excessive sun exposure are among the most important. The use of sunscreen, immunization and hygiene at work were the preventive measures mentioned most often. It is understood, therefore, that the ACS are more exposed to ergonomic hazards than biological, showing that the same lack of attention and lack of efficient public policies determines the occurrence of risks and work-related problems. Generates up the need for development and implementation by the ACS, health professionals and management, effective strategies aimed at promoting occupational health, minimizing the incidence of injuries resulting from work and impacting on improvements in quality of life.
