Resumo:
The present study was accomplished at the mine Ipueira 3, located in the municipal district
of Andorinha, in the North-northeast portion of the State of Bahia. Where the
mineralization of chrome happens in a sill mafic-ultramafie intensely failed. Due to the
structural complexity of the deposit the detailing of the research was accomplished through
the sampling of a great amount of survey holes executed starting from research galleries in
the level (N-345). Para characterization geomechanical of that solid one, where two
production levels will be developed, 35 holes were analyzed disposed in 12 sections
longitudinal South-north and in profile West-east, totaling in approximately 2.900 m of
testimonies. The testimonies were measured and analyzed for determination of RQb and
of the recovery REC. They were selected and rehearsed samples of the main litologies
(serpentina-olivina-ortopiroxenio, cromitito, serpentina-ortopiroxenio-olivina and gabro)
for determination of the resistance to the compression uniaxial and triaxial. The data were
typed in spreadsheets electronics for calculation of RQD, recovery REC and statistical
distributions for RQD of each litologia. Also data were generated containing RQD, hole
size and you coordinate, to export for the perfilagem software Downhole Explorer (DHE).
Allowing to visualize graphs with variation of RQD along the holes, profiles of the
sections and stratigraphical columns. Therefore, this work emphasizes the usefulness of
available data starting from survey testimonies (he/she researches) for characterization of
those solid ones and the integration of auxiliary software that will be enhanced in the
conclusion of this work.
