Abstract:
Considering the countryside school as a fight space, diversity and construction for living with the environment, we realized that this space has been through over the past decades a process of discovery in the aspects: historical, cultural, political and environmental. This identification is related to the social movements fight and to debates by the universalization of a public school with quality to this population. Therefore, our work makes an approach about the situation of the multiseriate field school, for this it was performed a literature revision and an analysis in the textbooks adopted in this reality, with the intention of knowing how the environmental education was developed at school. We believe that the environmental education in this space becomes a mean of great importance to the incorporation of interdisciplinarity, in the construction of a critical and problematizing thought, contributing significantly in the production of knowledge and values for a better living in this space, breaking with social practices that are contrary to the welfare of this people. From our analysis we identified that are themes related to environmental education in the textbooks at the countryside school, but the majority does not contemplate a critical and contextualized characteristic. Thus, the collections are formulated following a uniseriate urban model, having a fragmentation of the textbooks by series/years.
