The way in which it gives the relationship of teacher and student can impact the way that it will relate to their customers. Thus, the establishment of an interpersonal relationship can train professionals more effective in human health care. Thus, this study aimed to know the interpersonal relationships between students and academics. This was an exploratory and descriptive nature of quantitative and qualitative conducted with 140 students entering and graduating from theoretical disciplines of nursing, pharmacy and nutrition, Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) - Health and Education Center (CES), located in the city of Cuite-PB. Data collection occurred from November to December 2011. The quantitative data were grouped in tables and graphs, discussed in the light of relevant literature and the theme for the treatment of qualitative data, we adopted the technique of Content Analysis. Regarding the question about the factors that contribute to student teaching interpersonal relationship, they met the following positive factors: moral, in entering the nursing (90%), pharmacy (95.2%) and nutrition (86.6) , ethics, graduates of theoretical disciplines in nursing (80.9%), pharmacy (100%) and nutrition (100%); posture, dialogue and commitment and responsibility over (85%) of survey participants. Thus when these factors are practiced by both teachers and learners gain as a person and as a professional, improving the quality of teaching and learning by making students more humane future professionals and competent for the job market. Regarding the negative factor of this study, over 50% of participants highlighted the antipathy. Still in the tabulation of the data was structured three categories, two of which were related to strategies used in the elucidation of interpersonal dialogue and student teaching titled confidence in interpersonal relationships, skills in professional behavior. The third titled enhancement of cognitive abilities, with questions about whether the interpersonal relationship contributes to the academic growth and how this happens. This study emphasizes the importance of training health professionals in their field of work, generating impact on the quality of care provided to the user of the health sector. Thus, the manner in which occurs the relationship of teacher and student can cause change in the way that it will relate to their customers. The establishment of an effective interpersonal relationship between teachers and students can produce professionals with humanistic education relevant to health care.
