Abstract:
Local governments have a role of paramount importance for countries to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thus, this article comes to investigate how the municipality of Sumé-PB has contributed to the achievement of the agenda in 2030 on sustainable development. As a general objective: To analyze the perception of Sumé-PB county manager, for the programs and actions that the county has implemented to achieve the agenda 2030. The specific objectives: To describe the trajectory of sustainable development and the 2030 agenda; Point out the programs and actions undertaken by the county of Sumé-PB in the areas of health, education, agriculture, environment and social assistance; and relate the programs and activities that the county of Sumé-PB develops the goals on the agenda 2030. The work is characterized as a case study, qualitative, exploratory and descriptive with the use of literature. Data collection occurred through semi-structured interviews with the mayor of Sumé-PB. Soon after, the content analysis was made with the support of software Iramuteq (R Interface pourles Analyzes Multidimensionnelles of Texteset of Questionnaires) using graphics, Dendogram, Descending Hierarchical Classification (CHD) and Words Cloud. Later, the data were detailed and related theory. After analyzing the Iramuteq, it was found that the words that appeared most frequently were, county, partnership and resources. Such terms were confirmed during the interview detailing stage, in which it was revealed that investments and partnerships are part of the manager's speech. Finally, it was noted that the county of Sumé-PB has contributed to the achievement of the agenda in 2030 through actions, programs and policies that cover the various social, environmental and economic dimensions.
