Abstract:
This scientific article is dedicated to the analysis of the symbolism of the first hundred days of the right and left governments, respectively. From this perspective, the general objective of the research is to establish, comparatively, a correlation between the main decisions adopted by the left and right governments in Brazil, taking into account the aforementioned period. To this end, it validates itself through three specific objectives: a) to highlight the main actions of the Left and Right Governments in Brazil in the first hundred days; b) observe the speech of possession of both; and c) identify the impacts of the measures presented along the aforementioned period. The adopted methodology (descriptive-interpretative and qualitative) consists in the analysis and discussion of the actions of the governments of Dilma (2011 to 2014) and Bolsonaro (2019 to 2022), in such a way that the discourses of possession of both and the main decisions of the respective governments. After their selection, it was noticeable when the governance of one stood out over the other. That is, from the analysis of the speech to the first actions taken by both rulers, there is a predominance of appreciation of the left government, in Dilma Rousseff's power, compared to the right government, in Bolsonaro's leadership. This analysis therefore led to the conclusion that there were more advantages and positive positions linked to the left government; while in the right wing, a pejorative image called “misrule” has been created because of the impacts of its current management.
