Resumen:
Technologies are part of our daily lives, they occupying a relevant function in the transformations in society. In the education area they are indispensable for providing the development of dynamic activities, whereupon the student is protagonist in building their own knowledge. When we used them with purpose of informing and communicating are called ICTs. They are important tools that although have been gradually introduced into Brazilian basic education present potentialities that modify the daily life of the classrooms, as well as the teaching-learning process. This study aims to analyze the contributions of ICTs in the teaching of physics in basic education at the State school Professor Joaquim Umbelino from the town of Bom Jesus, PB. The methodology used it was to action-research, initially intervening with the research, using the application of questionnaires as a working instrument and consequently the action, developing activities assisted by Information and Communication Technologies. The subjects of research are the students of high school from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades, as well as the physics teacher from these classes. The reading and analysis of the questionnaires supported the elaboration of grounded activities in the use of computer simulations in order to work the contents: Performed by a force (1st), Greenhouse Effect (2nd), and Magnetic Field (3rd). The dynamism of the class provided by the use of computer simulations contributed to increase student-teacher interaction, effective student participation as well as a marked improvement in the conceptual understanding of the Physical contents.
