Resumo:
Virtual body is the title chosen to denominate systems that bind, in a
personalized way, technological objects to their legitimate owners. The
conceptual basis of the architecture this systems is developed from analogies
with the mechanisms, and interactions observed in living organisms, which
guarantee the maintenance of life of members of a body and they are used to
hinder or to render difficult the use of these members in other bodies.
In this work, the, author develops the conceptual basis on which the
architecture denominated Virtual Body is established and details the elements of
its structure. For such, a systemic model is shown, which has as its purpose the
implementation of interactive systems from the set of electronic goods of an
individual, so units taken off from the system without authorization are
disabled.
From this definition, i t is necessary that the electronic goods that make
up the system units have control and interactivity capabilities in a network
environment, be it through cabled media, or through wireless media. The
practical applicability of this subject and its relevancy will be demonstrated
from the observation that in the current technological scene there are
indications of the expansion of such resources among diverse electric-electronic
products, enclosing an increasing variety of applicable goods.
The Personal Area Network (PAN) platforms will also have a space
dedicated in this work, as they form the practical implementation basis of the
theoretical model being proposed. We will have the detailed description of a
representative implementation of a Virtual Body from the theoretical model
presented and based on a PAN platform.
In this implementation the JINI technology is used in the development of
the modules that by the OS1 model correspond to the Application layer, while
the modules corresponding to the Physical and Link layers and, therefore,
responsible by connectivity of the system's communication units, are based on
the standard 802.11b; thereby, these technologies and standards will also be
treated in specific topics this work.
