Abstract

Efficient methods of compacting and decompressing information are being developed, given the wide trend regarding the storage of large programs, large texts, databases etc. This work aims to develop and implement two methods of information compression and decompression in the IBM 1130. Also, this work makes a statistical analysis of both methods.
