Resumen:
This dissertation presents various aspects of a system for the acquisition and
processing of physiological signals, the "Fisiografo Digital". This apparatus has a modular
structure and consists of a microcomputer, signal conditioning modules and the control
program. The control program commands the acquisition, storage, processing and
visualisation of the physiological signals. Different techniques for the acquisition and
storage of these signals with an IBM-PC compatible microcomputer are described. The
software has been written in the modular form to enable quick and relatively easy
modifications. The user interface is friendly and the commands are issued by Pop-up type
menus.
