Resumo:
The present work aims to analyze the uses of narratives radio stations on the municipal radio of the city of Poço Dantas-PB, showing his importance in the politics and social construction of the city. We will remember the arrival and consolidation of radio in the Brazilian scenario, bringing with it a character of modernity society and point out some of the moments when the Radio and Politics have come together throughout history to use the means of communication as a tool capable of promoting mobilization of large social groups for political purposes in the course of electoral processes or in government fixation through propaganda. In the first moment we will show a brief history of Radio in Brazil as a propagator of trends that led to changes in the daily life of society Brazilian. Then, remember historical moments when the radio starts to be used to enhance the image of government systems or politicians for example Getúlio Vargas and on several occasions during the course of the political history of Brazil. After that we will study this context between the radio and politics in a smaller sphere, remembering a little about the trajectory of the Municipal Radio of the city of Poço Dantas-PB, presenting as if consolidated in Poçodantese society. We will conclude by analyzing the uses of speeches by listeners, politicians and the radio press on “Poço Dantas FM”, in the program “Panorama Semanal” as a means of acting in the electoral processes and the denunciations of the city’s social ills seeking understand how radio broadcasting through its oral tradition remains present in society being used as a tool for political articulation in defense of class interests in the municipal politics of the city of Poço Dantas-PB
