Resumo:
The problems of water supplying in cities alert to the necessity of manage water resources
considering the economic aspects, socials and environmentals. The traditional optical of
the supply management, for only solution of these problems, have showed mistake in the
answer of the premises on sustainable development. Into this context this research valued,
multicriterialy technological options of management of the water demand a neighbourhood
of Campina Grande-PB city. It's about a study of the hypothetical measurement
implantation (thrift water health appliances, water reuse, rainwater catchment system,
water meter individual in buildings), in houses and buildings, to a reduction the water
consumption in this sector. Were studied and developed projects to implement the
measures, calculating the costs, investment return and water economy. Had also the
participation of the society between home interview to value the measurement
acceptability from the neighbourhoods resident. With this study watched that the
implementation of the studied measurements will generate a economy of
142,043.12m3/year, that correspond 0,615% of the amount supplied annually to the
Campina Grande-PB city and 74,5% of the annual water consumption in this sector.
Between the better select measurements by the multiple criteria model (developed in this
research) that serve the pre-definite objective are: toilet bowl VDR and thrift appliances.
