dc.description.resumo	Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento, construção e a análise experimental de uma fonte de tensão contínua regula da de baixa tensão para correntes elevadas, alimentada por uma tensão alternada variável. A fonte foi projetada com características adequadas a produção de hidrogênio, a partir da eletrólise da água utilizando energia elétrica obtida através de um aerogerador. É feito, também, um estudo comparativo das várias possibilidades de realização de uma tal fonte, examinando as diferentes técnicas de regulação, que podem ser utilizadas, e de possíveis conexões dos semicondutores e dos enrolamentos no primário e secundário do transformador. A regulação da tensão de saída da fonte é obtida a partir da mudança de derivações no primário do transformador de retificação. Para a conversão em corrente contínua, utilizou-se um retificador hexafásico de meia onda.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstract	This work presents the development, construction and experimental analysis of a DC voltage source regulates low voltage for high currents, powered by a variable AC voltage. The source was designed with characteristics suitable for hydrogen production, from the electrolysis of water using electrical energy obtained through a wind turbine. A comparative study is also made of the various possibilities of realizing such a source, examining the different regulation techniques that can be used, and possible connections of semiconductors and windings on the primary and secondary of the transformer. The regulation of the output voltage of the source is obtained by changing the taps in the primary of the rectifying transformer. For converting to direct current, a half-wave hexaphasic rectifier was used.	pt_BR
