Resumo:
A new technique for simulating the transient and steady-state responses of nonlinear circuits has been presented. It is a time-domain technique and it is based on the Newton-Raphson procedure for accelerating the convergence to the steady-state. The technique has been applied to determines the response of 3-phase AC/DC
converters. A study has been made of the harmonic interaction between AC systems and AC/DC converter, emphasizing the determination of the harmonic voltages and harmonic currents generated by the converter and the transference of these harmonics
from AC side to DC side of these converters. The interactions have also been studied in terms of the power components defined for electric circuits that operate in nonsinusoidal conditions. The simulation technique has been applied to the 6-pulse and 12-pulse converters and the harmonic transfers of voltage, current and power components have
been computed.
