Resumo:
The presence of information and communication technologies (Icts) in education has attracted
special attention in the debates over education, with the presence of different views on the use
of computers in teaching-learning process of chemistry. In this perspective, this research aims
to analyze the use of ICT's as motivating instrument and facilitator in teaching and learning of
chemistry, which was grounded in qualitative and quantitative methodology. That way,
applied itself a questionnaire in order to meet the students ' conceptions about the said topic.
Subsequently, itself held in the construction and presentation of an object Virtual learning
about chemical bonds. The results indicate that 59% of students surveyed in the Escola
Estadual José Joaquim, located in the city of Coronel Ezequiel-RN, like chemistry and 27%
do not like, as well as, 72% of students report that the presence of calculations in the content
taught in the classroom makes their learning difficult. On the other hand believe that the use
of computer in chemistry lessons presents itself as a motivating element that can help them in
understanding the content taught in the classroom.
