Abstract:
Gamification, defined as the "use of game elements and game design techniques in non-game
contexts" (Deterding et al, 2011), is a concept that is still at an embryonic stage in academia. ,
The main areas in which the application of this concept was registered, the main objective of
which is to present the state of the art of gamification in the national academic
scenario.Menezes (2016), as the third area with the greatest number Of gamification
publications in the world.While in Brazil the research on gamification and Engineering,
according to the sample used, are practically non-existent.Although there is a significant
space for the application of gamification in engineering, because this professional is usually in
charge of ministering Courses, trainings or disseminate techniques within companies,
networks of companies or communities.
