Resumo:
This master's thesis work presents an introduction to the process of
prospection and exploration of oil, as well as the existing operation system. The main objective presented here is to emphasize a large maritime structure called the Semi-submersible Maritime Platform, which is one of the great technologies existing in the exploration of oil in Brazil and in the world. These platforms suffer in their structures excitations and / or disturbances from the environment such as wind, currents and sea waves. An environmental effect more considered to cause damage to these structures and the excitement from the waves at sea. This structure is developed in terms of its dynamic behavior. The computer simulation is developed in a program that uses the Finite Element method. The modal parameters (natural frequency and vibration mode) are calculated and obtained as well as the schematic deformation settings of the platform column. The system is excited with periodic and random signals that represent the excitation of the sea wave and the fluid - structure interaction and the frequency spectrum graphs are obtained. Therefore, it is concluded that it is possible to simulate and analyze such large structures, supporting the monitoring of these structures.
