Abstract:
This work aims to present ÁguasPB, a free application for use on mobile devices that have Google's Android operating system on board (smartphones and tablets). The system aims to use all the convenience and usability of modern mobile applications to facilitate the dissemination of rainfall data from all cities in Paraíba monitored by the Executive Water Management Agency of the State of Paraíba, as well as the current levels of the main reservoirs of water of the respective state. The creation of this application is materialized by the problem that there is still no official communication channel for pluviometric data in the mobile world so widespread today. Through this technical production, tools and technologies in the field of web development and the production of native applications through the code developed for the internet will be presented here. The system functions are presented through a use-case diagram for further explanation of the functionalities. In terms of usability for the user, the application uses graphical interface components based on Google's Material Design concepts such as lists and buttons, making the layout more elegant without losing the ease of use that mobile applications bring. As a result, we obtained an application that simplifies access to rainfall data in the cities of Paraíba, disseminating information officially to everyone.
