Abstract:
This study seeks to develop and apply different methods applied to the teaching and learning
process of molecular geometry since the great difficulty in understanding this content and the
need to include new methodologies in the teaching of molecular geometry. To do so, a
didactic sequence was developed for the teaching of molecular geometry using play and
technological resources, this being a basic research, characterized as to its objectives as a
bibliographic and field study developed at the State School of Elementary and Middle School
Jose Nilson Santiago, located in Poço Dantas with twenty six students of the third year of
high school. The students 'great difficulty in understanding molecular geometry was realized,
and the adoption of play resources and applications directly contributes to increase students'
participation and interest, as well as to advance the improvement of the teaching and learning
process of students. chemistry in basic education.
