Resumo:
This work presents a comparative analysis of the results of the application of several equations estimating sediment transport in bed conditions piano. Based on dimensional analysis and other works
previous [Sriniyasan (1969), Rego (19 8 1]) suggests a solid transport relation according to basic variables, for piano bed conditions. The equations selected for this research were: Einstein (1950), Toffaleti (1969), Schoklitsch (1930), Meyer-Peter and Miuller (1948), Bagnold (1966), Laursen (1958) and Rijn (1982). The comparisons were made with the use of data collected especially for this purpose in a system of
laboratory-mounted recirculation for varied conditions in terms of flow depth, net flow and size sediment. The results show that the equations of Bagnold and Laursen Kodificado are the most suitable under the conditions tested. The adjusted Laursen equations, Bagnold and
functional relationship proposed in this work presented 83%, 54% and 76% of the respective data within the percentage variation range of + 30%.
