In Brazil, family farming is responsible for most food that arrive on the population table, playing an important role in minimizing hunger and poverty, as well as influencing the aspects of environmental protection and sustainable development. Some producers have opted to operate in the informal market, due to legal, tax and tax requirements for the regularization of enterprises. However, acting informally exposes these actors to inconvenience, such as, the risk of being assessed by public control agencies. This research aimed to conduct a survey of the regulations related to the agroindustrial sector, in relation to the legal and administrative aspects, and then make a survey about the reality of an agroindustry in Pombal-PB city. Therefore, a qualitative and exploratory study was conducted, based on the technique bibliographic research, as well as the application of a structured questionnaire, composed of questions that were divided into two stages: sociodemographic profile of the interviewed and questions about the theme approach. After analyzing the data, it is possible to measure and identify which administrative practices are used in the enterprise and that there are compliance with some aspects related to legal, environmental and sanitary regularization by the agribusiness in study, according to the existing legislation, in the process of environmental regularization. It was suggested the elaboration of the Strategic Planning of the enterprise to the next 03 (three) years, as well as a departmentalization of the agribusiness, defining the responsibility of each associate. With the accomplishment of this work it was possible to elucidate the main legal-normative aspects of the agroindustry, applicable to the reality the Pombal-PB city, culminating in the proposition of solutions for critical points, aiming at better results and organizational performance.
