Resumo:
This work aimed to evaluate the effect of the sources and
incorporation times of manures in beet grown. The experiment was carried out
in greenhouse at the Centro de Ciências e Tecnologia Agroalimentar
(CCTA/UFCG), Pombal-PB, from 12/12/2009 to 15/04/2010, using the beet
'Early Wonder. The treatments were done by means of the use of two sources
of manures (caule and goats) in the rates of 80 t ha-l , four incorporation times
of the manures (0, 15, 30 and 60 days before of planting - DAP) and additional
control (without manure). The experimental design was randomized blocks, on
the factorial scheme 2x4+1 , with four repetitions. The highest values of total dry
mass, root and production were verified on beet fertilized with goat manure in
relation to the caule manure. The highest rates photosynthesis, stomatic
conductivity, leaf área, total dry mass and leaf were obtained with 0 and 60
days and dry mass root and yield for plant with 60 days of incorporation of the
manures in the soil before of planting. The application of the goat manure and
the anticipation in the incorporation tomes improved best performance in the
growth, dry mass accumulation and yield in beet.
