Abstract:
With the significant growth of beekeeping in our country, there have been many
accidents involving the attack of Afncanized bees, especially the people who manage,
although there are no ofTicial epidemiological data to confiml the observations made in
daily practice. So it behooves us to deve]op technica] and adapt techniques to overcome
obstacles such as the aggressiveness of our bens. To evaluate the levei of aggressiveness
of Aíticanized bees as a fünction of time of day, associated with temperatura, it was
aimed to determine the best time management of hives in the county of County - PB.
The survey was conducted in an apiary of Mlr. Femandes Soul of Albuquerque in the
Irrigated Engineer in the city of Arco Verde County - PB. We used 10 colonies of Após
mellifera (Aâicanized bees), with the adult population and creates a similar área, and
each hive represented a repetition. Samples were collected at three times, 6irst in the
early moming of 7: 00 to 9:00 pm, the second early aâemoon from 12:00 to 14:00 hours
and the third in the aRemoon from 1 5:00 to 17:00. We made the following observations:
Time to first sting occurs in a suede 5x5 cm diameter gray colar; Number of stings leR
in suede, infüriating time for the bees, number of bees that attack is the suede that prides
itself on a string in a cylindrical plastic adaptar, which was closed arfar 60 seconds and
counted the number of bees that attacked. In addition, we measured the distante that the
observer bees chased ater that start to walk away from the colony at normal speed, 60
seconds ater the chamois was presented and the time to calm the bees in the colony
during the Hjrst 60 seconds test. It was determined the Pearson correlation coefHicient
using SPSS. According to the data collected, it was observed that the attack and
defensive behavior in Aíticanized showed that the mass in the region of Paraíba
backwoods was substantial. Due to the aggressiveness of the bees, it was observed that
the attacks were more üequent with a greater number of bens toward the target of
teasing science. The average time was infüriating between 3.2 and 4.1 seconds at a
temperature of 36 ' C. The time of occurrence of the üirst sting and the largest number
of spikes was inversely proportional to the increase in temperatura. The average
distance was 282 meteis attack of persecution. The time to calm the bees was 37.9
minutos. The amount of bens that attacked the natural enemy in time of 60 seconds was
an average of45.13 bees.
