Résumé:
In this section we present our research in general. Our study was conducted at E.E.E.F.M. Bandarra, located in the countryside of São João do Rio do Peixe - PB. Data collection was developed from questionnaires applied to the students of the 3rd year of high school, as well as geography teacher and school management, we also work with the literature search using authors and documents that served as aid for our study. Our objective was to understand whether that school, being situated in the field promotes the strengthening of the identity of the subject of the field, from education carried out and, if contributes to the permanence of these subjects in the field. According to the Ministry of Education provided education to the subject lies in the field must be worked according to the reality experienced by these subjects so that from that these people develop better citizens as reflective of today's society. The field of education has been discussed in several academic papers in recent years, in order to cause it to be carried out properly by the schools of the field, however, many schools do not meet all the required parameters for Rural Education, nevertheless the efforts by all schools that receive students residing in the field should be recognized. Our research field school conducts various cultural and educational activities that are critical to the development of its students and the community to which they belong, such activities may have major influence on the development or strengthening of the identity of the subjects that are served by State school of Elementary and Secondary Education of Bandarra. The teaching of Geography in turn is able to contribute in various ways to civic education of children and youth, as a discipline that deals with various themes both historical and current society in which we live, and work on the physical and environmental aspects of our planet, therefore, the teaching of Geography available by field school in our research, also has a great deal of importance as regards the construction of the identity of the students residing in the field. Our research was carried out using pre-designed questionnaires and applied to students of the third year of high school and the school question.
