Résumé:
Ethnobotany is an offshoot of ethnoscience or subcategory that
covers all this knowledge . Ethnobotany is a term currently used enough , this
term was first used in the late nineteenth century , the botanist Harshberger , to
describe the study of plants used by Aboriginal people , helping to unravel the
cultural position of the indigenous tribes . The aim of this study was to conduct
an ethnobotanical survey in a community called Quilombo of Rufinos . The
methodology used to perform the work was in place through visita and
questionnaires, where it asked about various aspects of community
infrastructure , environmental aspects and mainly on the use of plants in healing
Based on these results it was found that residents of the maroon community of
Rufinos , use the tea as medication more frequently used in preparation of
herbal medicines , the main part of the plant are used to prepare the leaves ,
the main plant families that locais use are: Anacardiacea, Asteraceae,
Bignoniaceae, Capparaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Lamiaceae, Malvaceae,
Monimiaceae, Myrtacea, Poaceae, Punicaceae, Rutaceae, Turneraceae,
Verbenaceae, Zingiberaceae. From the data collected and analyzed one
realizes that it is necessary for numerous research papers or even extension is
carried out se that the resident population in that área is best qualified.
