Resumo:
This dissertation has as main objective to verify
the adequacy of some theories on sediment transport to
each type of shape of the Ieito, using data obtained through
tests carried out in a flow recirculation channel,
state of the art, fully automated.
The selected equations were as follows: E. Meyer-
Peter and R. Muller (1948), F. Engelund and E. Hansen <1 956), Leo C.
van RIJ n (1982), Yang (1973), U. Zanke (1982), L. Pernecker and J.
VolImers (1965), BagnoId (1966), Einstein (1950) and Laursen
(1958).
The results showed that none of the equations d
consistent when training is Riples, with transport rate of
excessively small sediment. Yang's equation showed
excellent result for the dune case. Bagnold's equations,
Laursen and Einstein were the best for the bed shape
flat.
