Resumo:
Nowadays, as computer networks become critical to enterprise, efficient network management is necessary, with a main goal of minimizing the occurrence of faults. On the
other hand, due the increase in network size, centralized management applications are not scalable to manage these networks efficiently. This dissertation details a fault management framework (fwGF), its implementation and validation. We also discuss the evolution of the framework, based on a framework evolution process, to support distributed network management.
