Abstract:
The radish cultivation in organic system has potential for production-scale family se
that various organic farming alternatives have been used to improve productivity in
relation to mineral fertilization. This work was aimed to evaluate the growth and
production of radish fertilized with caule manure, bío-fertilizer and mineral fertilizer.
The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse (greenhouse), the Science and
Technology Centre - CCTA Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Pombas -
PB, March-Apri1 2015, using a variety of Crimson Giant radish. The experimental
design was completely randomized with three replications. Seven treatments were
used in which they were recorded as follows: three doses of caule manure (37.5.
75.0 and 150 g per pot). three concentrations of biofertilizer (5, 10 and 15%) and the
last treatment was the fertilization Mineral recommended for culture. The variables
analyzed were: growth characteristics, production and gas exchange of radish plants.
The application of 5% bio-fertilizer provided greater height of radish plants, however
the treatment with the highest number of leaves was the caule manure in the dose of
75.0g per pot (30 t ha -l). A concentration of 10% of biofertilizers, was the one with
the largest diameter, fresh and dry weight of tuberous root. Treatment 5% of biofertilizer,
promoted greater height of radish planta. The treatment T2 - 75 g of manure
had the highest average fresh and dry matter of leaves compared with other
treatments. The use of organic fertilizers promoted greater production in radish
culture, it can be used as an alternative to conventional fertilization.
