Résumé:
The study of commitment is not an easy task, since this is a personal characteristic, which can suffer several types of influence, which can affect each individual differently, and when it comes to organizational commitment, is no different, because the human resource is complex to be studied and its characteristics are very particular. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze the level of commitment of the members of two Junior Companies of the Management course(EJA Consultoria – Junior Management Company, UFPB and Prospect - Junior Management Company, UFCG), based on the Organizational Commitment Base Scale (EBACO) validated by Medeiros (2003), which was built and is worked under seven bases of commitment: affective, obligation to remain, obligation for performance, affiliation, lack of rewards and opportunities, consistent line of activity and scarcity of alternatives, where they influence the performance of organizations, the first four being directly proportionally and the last three inversely proportional. The research is also characterized as quantitative and was used for data collection, the questionnaire proposed by Siqueira (2008) was used. Of the results obtained, it was observed that the members of the two junior companies have a good level of organizational commitment, where two bases presented results as expected: obligation for performance and scarcity of alternatives, others four, even if they did not obtain the ideal level, presented results closer to expectations, which were the bases: affective, obligation to remain, lack of rewards and opportunities and consistent line of activity, which is still satisfactory for the organization. The affiliation base was the only unfavorable for the two organizations, where Prospect presented below-average commitment and the EJA had a low commitment. Because junior companies are of the same course, it is suggested an analysis companies of other courses to verify whether this result may be common to the junior ecosystem or only companies in the Management course.
