Résumé:
The sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is a crop of wide adaptability to
various conditions latitude, longitude and photoperiod. being planted in all regions of
Brazil, thus becoming one of the main crops for the production of biofuels. Nitrogen
(N), as well as being one of the macronutrients more absorbed by plants, is the most
limited to sunflower production thus making it essential the correct use of it. Thus, the
aim with this study was to evaluate the effect of application of different nitrogen
sources on growth and sunflower biomass production. The experiment was
conducted at the Centro de Ciências e Tecnologia Agroalimentar (CCTA), belonging
to the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), Pombal, PB, from August
20, 2014 to November 5, 2014, using a variety helium 251. the experimental design
was a randomized block in factorial 2 x 6 x 1 , with 4 replications and the treatments
consisted of two sources of organic fertilizer (bed and chicken manure Bovino), six
bed leveis chicken (16001 32001 64001 128001 256001 51200 kg ha-l) and six leveis
of bovine manure (32001 64001 128001 256001 512001 102400 kg ha-l). the highest
values obtained for Height plant (AP), stem diameter (DC), Phytomass Freca (FF),
Phytomass dry (FS) and leaf área (AF) were observed when it was used poultry litter
as organic fertilizer supply (30,720 kg.ha -l), except for stem diameter and plant
height.
