Resumo:
Literacy aims to create basic situations so that students can learn and develop skills that will be required in the subsequent stages of their training (SOUZA 70, p.9). We started our internship at the 1st grade Municipal School Virgilio de Aguiar Gurgel, through questioning, informal conversations with teachers and students, and we felt the need to work with reading and writing, since students feel difficult to follow the 2nd grade due to lack greater preparation of the previous series. We understand that reading is of fundamental importance for the intellectual development and the understanding of the student's socio-cultural reality since learning is influenced by their life experiences. Our objective in this work is to alleviate these deficiencies and at the same time we try to contribute directly and indirectly to the activities developed by the teacher, so that there is a better performance of the teaching-learning process. In view of these deficiencies, we worked with a 2nd grade class, totaling 31 students. Seeking to offer suggestions to stimulate the reading and writing process, but directly to the study of word formation with digraphs. At the same time, basic considerations are made about the nature and evolution of writing, aiming to improve the teaching-learning process, especially in the initial grades.
