Resumo:
The tomato is a vegetable widely grown in severas regions because of their
adaptability and high demand for the fruit. However, post-harvest fosses are a major
problem of this culture and can be minímized with the use of new low-post
technologies. In this regard the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of biofilm
the bases of C/z/ore//a sp. at different concentrations in the post-harvest quality of
tomate (So/anz/m /ycopersicum L.) stored at ambient conditions. This work was carried
out in a completely randomized design with flve treatments (T0-witness; Tl- 1% of
biomass CA/ore//a sp;. T2-2% of biomass C'#/ore//a sp; T3 3% of biomass C/z/ore//a sp;
T4 4% of biomass CA/ore//a sp). Treating tomatoes with biofllm Cb/ore//a sp. in
concentrations of 1% and 2% reduced weight loss of the fruit, but also delayed the
development of bolor expressed by C +, a I' and b 'k values as well as the diameter,
vitamin C and soluble solids.
