Information about behavior of absorption of macronutrients by melon crop are crucial
in planning the installment of the amounts of fertilizer to be applied. It takes more
regionalized studies that suited the nutritional requirements of the yellow melon under
local production conditions, taking into account soil and climatic characteristics. The
objective was to evaluate the absorption of macronutrients gears and dry matter
accumulation by melon crop cultivated under fertigation in Açu, Apodi microregion in
the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The experiment was conducted between July and
September 2015, in a randomized block design with mne treatments and four
replications. The treatments mne seasons collection and evaluation, in weekly
intervals, from 14 to 70 days after transplanting. They evaluated the accumulation of
dry matter and macronutrients for each evaluation period. The macronutrient
extraction curves followed the pattern of dry matter accumulation behavior for yellow
melon 'FI Goldex' fertirrigated. The order of accumulation of macronutrients was: K>
Ca> N> Mg> S> P
