Resumo:
The public school, which has received an increasing number of socially disadvantaged students, is not prepared and does not seem to have the intention of preparing to work without poverty. What the school has done is to equip itself to educate an ideal child who is hardly, or never, in the classroom. (GATT ET ALLI, 1981,3p.). It appears from this quote that the school we are interning in is not concerned with knowing the world of the student. So when they arrive at school, most of them are faced with a reality different from theirs in terms of culture, language, values, etc. Its cultural world, most of the time is being discredited. Starting from these problems, among others that we detected, we felt the need for a pedagogical orientation that would guide the practice of the teacher in the classroom, since at school there was no pedagogical line of work. We plan to work with teachers, through study sessions, in an attempt to minimize, in part, the problems detected.
