Resumen:
Many diseases affect watermelon highlighting the roots of rota. The use of organic
waste such as Bokashi is an alternative for the reduction of pathogens and improve
the quality of the soil, making it suppressive. This study aimed to evaluate the effect
of organic compost Bokashi in biological attributes and biochemical indicators of soil
quality infected with Fusarium sp cultivated with watermelon. The work was
conducted in a greenhouse in the CCTA / UFCG campus of Pombal where weekly
doses of organic compost were evaluated Bokashi(14ml, 28ml. 56ml and 1 12ml /
plant) in the ground, using cv. Watermelon Crimson Sweet. To meet this purpose,
soil samples were collected in each subplot at different times (0, 30, and 60 days
after planting watermelon) which were evaluated microbiological activity (soil
respiration), microbial biomass carbon and metabolic quotient (qCO2). The
experimental design was a randomized block consisting of six treatments (doses of
Bokashi and positive and negative controls) with ave repetitions. There was a
significant correlation between treatments and ranges collection where the biological
and biochemical attributes evaluated presented different behaviors.
