Resumo:
Despite the lack of scientific infomlation, the use of microalgae in agriculture has been
increasingly in organic and biodynamic cultivation base. This study aimed to evaluate the
growth, production and postharvest quality of eggplants under managements (M) of foliar
application with Spirufert®(Spíru/fna p/a/ensis). The management consisted of tour productaconcentrations applied in tour phenological stages, where MI comprises spraying at concentrations of lO, 15, 25 and 35 g L'i; M2 corresponded to concentrations of 15, 20, 30 and 40 g L'i; M3 for 20, 25, 35 and 45 g L'i and M4 corresponds to the control. For
postharvest test, the treatments were a factorial 4 x 5, corresponding to the tour treatments originated the field experiment and tive periods of storage. The Spiruf'ert® applied at lower concentrations (MI) provides greater production of íiuit without influencing the foliar content of N, P, K and Na in culture. Higher concentrations of the product (M3) can promote vegetative growth of eggplants at the expense of production. The product does not aífect the bolor of the fruit or its soluble solids, but the MI management provides greater stability in ftuit Himlness during storage of up to six days.
