Entrepreneurship is a tool in evidence in the current scenario, arousing the interest of the academic community and society in general. Inserted in this context, female entrepreneurship, increasingly important becomes the economic and social environment, given the growing strength of women's participation in the creation of new enterprises. In this sense, this paper aims to analyze the motivational profile and entrepreneurial behavior characteristics of proprietary salon women in the municipality of Lagoa Seca-PB. Therefore, the research was characterized as descriptive as it seeks to describe the characteristics of the object under study. Since this is also a survey of quantitative and qualitative approach, to make use of tools quantitative techniques in the analysis and measurement of data and design more profound analysis about the phenomenon studied. So to achieve this purpose, it was used as a data collection tool, a questionnaire of closed type and structured, aimed at mapping the characteristics and behaviors of entrepreneurs interviewed. From the analysis of the results, it was found among those interviewed the presence of behaviors and relevant attributes the figure of the successful entrepreneur, with emphasis the fact introduce such traits or standard of conduct, do not guarantee absolutely achieve success. In general, it was noted that in most cases, the hair salons were open to learning and seeking knowledge that help in the performance of their activities, showing thus, points that are essential to the permanence of these women in such a competitive sector as the beauty industry.
