Centro de atenção psicossocial de álcool e outras drogas (CAPSAD): uma análise do trabalho realizado pelos profissionais junto à família dos usuários.

Abstract

The present research has as general objective to analyze the work developed by the CAPSad team of professionals with the families of users. Drug use / abuse has been growing in Brazil and it is considered a serious public health problem. Drugs can be defined as any substance that affects the central nervous system in some way and can often lead to addiction; in addition, its use affects the user and the whole family, and may cause the members of this organization to become codependentes of the user. This is a qualitative study in which it aims to understand this theme from the point of view of the group of professionals interviewed considering the subjective aspects, field making observations to delve into the issues proposed here from a semi-structured interview with the professionals of the CAPSad de Sousa. In this way, we can analyze the work carried out by the CAPSad professionals with the family of the users, identifying the activities that the CAPSad of the municipality of Sousa proposes with the families, as well as to draw a profile of the subjects attended by the institution and to reflect on the possible changes that may occur in the life of the user being treated.
