Abstract:
In the current context of organizations is notoriously increasing need for investments in shares
of Training, Development and Education – TD&E through which employees can develop new
skills and abilities, and to experience behavioral changes that will contribute to maintenance
of its own employability and increasing organizational competitiveness. However, the results
of training are not always visibly measurable, hence the importance of using instruments to
measure the impact of training on the job, this can be observed through two dimensions, the
impact depth and amplitude. Based on Assessment Work Training Integrated Model –
IMPACT developed by Abbad (1999), the current study aimed to describe the impact of the
amplitude on the job training from the perspective of self-assessment of the supervisors of a
company's Call Center located in Campina Grande - PB. To this end, was performed a
descriptive research with quantitative approach, whose data were collected through
questionnaires applied to a sample of 45 supervisors who participated in a training program
called Coaching offered by the company. The results indicate that the impact of this training
in amplitude in the perception of self-assessment of participants was very positive, with low
dispersion in all items. Participants said they often use what was taught and enjoying the
lessons to minimize errors. We also observed an increase in self-confidence and motivation to
work.
