Resumen:
The business plan is an important tool to a company implantation, directing the
entrepreneur to accomplish a proper planning, getting structured all areas of the
enterprise and doing a business viability analysis. This study intends to analyze the
viability of the implementation of the filial company J.L. Braga Decor in Campina
Grande city – PB by the development of a business plan. The structure of the study
follows the model proposed by Salim et al (2005) and a software developed by
SEBRAE was used to develop the financial plan. In order to collect data and
information to the market analysis, a descriptive research was made and applied
through questionnaires and interviews with professionals that work in the interior
design branch – using non-probabilistic sampling due to its accessibility. The data
analysis was quantitative and qualitative. The results point towards the viability of the
business implantation, according to operational and market conditions, as well as
through the financial indicators.
