Resumo:
Considering that the poetry of Augusto dos Anjos has resisted time and caused enchantment and estrangement to many readers, by the world view and stylistic resources that constitute the work I and other poems, we wondered about the reception, still today the Augustian poems can raise in high school students. In this sense, we defined as objective of the research to investigate the reception of the poetry of Augusto dos Anjos by students of the third year of high school in a public school in Campina Grande (Paraíba). We report and reflect on the experience of reading and receiving three thematic anthologies that contemplated texts of a loving nature, relationship with nature, life and death present in the poems of Augusto dos Anjos. As a theoretical reference, we rely on Bosi (1972, 2015), Gullar (1976), Rosenfeld (1976), Magalhães Júnior (1907), Proença (1980) and Bezerra (2004) on the constitution of the Augustian poetics and explanations data at the beginning of the 19th century. From a methodological point of view, we sought in the reflections on literary reading (ROUXEL, 2014, PINHEIRO, 2007, 2009, 2015, 2018, COLOMER, 2007 and JOUVE, 2013) in reception aesthetics, Bordini (1988), Jauss (1994, 1972) and Petit (2009, 2013) with regard to interaction, among others. The results of the research indicate that the poetry of the poet in Paraiba awakened in the readers diverse reactions, ranging from humor to questioning and reflection, but also to refusal and permanent estrangement. The analysis of the data also showed that the adopted methodology, based on the sharing of impressions and reflections, contributed to the approximation between text - reader, favoring that the collaborators put themselves in a more reflexive posture in the process of reading, of reality and about themselves.
