Résumé:
Brazil has 14% of the world surface runoff, but does not escape of the problem of water scarcity, because this water is unevenly distributed in the country, and this combined with the distribution and legal restrictions may cause various conflicts between multiple users. This work aimed to make the diagnosis of current water availability in river basin using geoprocessing tools in the balance between water Gramame supply and demand. The methodology consisted in the consolidation and analysis of current demand for water supply in the watershed and in the diagnosis between water demand and supply in the basin considering the current legal criteria and scenarios of forecasting flow. It was used the free software gvSIG for presentation and spatialization of the performed analyses. As a result, we identified the major uses and users of the basin, as well as the main parts susceptible to the emergence of conflicts.
