Resumo:
The disordered urban growth results in changes in the local climate, mainly due to the replacement of native vegetation by buildings and generating tessellations environmental problems which impair the quality of life of people. One of the biggest problems are related to high temperatures registered in the cities. The joint analysis of the climate of very urbanized areas with those that are still little urbanized areas in their surroundings help in understanding how the anthropogenic modification can change the local microclimate. Given the above exposed this study aimed to understand the behavior of climatic parameters in the context of their specific characteristics, considering elements of comparison and relationship between climatological processes directed to low environments and intense urbanization in the municipality of Pombal-PB. The measurements were obtained through the digital Anemometer thermometer devices Impac IP-720 and Termohigro Luxímetro Digital Anemometer LM-8000 Lutron. It might realize from this search variations of meteorological elements observed points in different seasons of the year; proving that the urbanization influences on the local microclimate causing serious problems; and that knowledge of the behavior of these elements certainly will contribute to a better urban planning, aimed at improving environmental quality.
