O trabalho em rede no CAPS I João Paulo II: desafios e possibilidades para sua efetivação.

Abstract

This Course Conclusion Paper has as its theme "Networking in CAPS i: challenges and possibilities for its effectiveness", identifying the challenges encountered for the effective work in redenesse space, for that, were listed the mishaps found by the social worker for the accomplishment of this service and its performance in the CAPS and John Paul II. The work was motivated by reflections made from the field of internship in the CAPS and John Paul II - Psychosocial Attention Center for Children and Adolescents. Therefore, the objective of the research is shown in understanding the importance of networking in the face of the challenges presented for its effectiveness. In this sense, the present work presents a brief history about Brazilian health policy, which before being constituted as a citizen's right and the duty of the State, has gone through a long journey, with obstacles and advances, as we will discuss in the course of this work. Afterwards, we will address a little of the social security historicity in a way that prompts a broader understanding. Later, we will make some reflections about the policy of neoliberal dismantling and its effects on the effectiveness of the Brazilian Health Policy, ending with Mental Health and its consequences, reflecting on the current mental health policy and its actors, bringing data on Mental Health policy in Brazil, especially on CAPS - Psychosocial Care Centers. Showing that the initial goal of hospitalizations was not to treat and rehabilitate these people for social interaction, but to exclude them. As opposed to the mental health that cloistered the life of people affected by mental disorders and their families, the Psychiatric Reform arises raising the fight flag in search of the necessary changes in the mental health practices, being this a fundamental landmark in the changes that are in way . The research points out the difficulties in effecting networking, in addition to presenting the fragmentation of the work processes, generating the inefficiency of the treatments and the professional conformism. At the same time, we noticed the existence of an informal network, which involves the presence of other institutions besides health. In this way, a qualitative-quantitative research was conducted, guided by the critical-dialectical method. From the analysis of the data it is pointed out the need for coordination between services from a more flexible and non-fragmented system. Therefore Social Service enters the area of Mental Health, acting with the patients, relatives and / or caregivers of the people in mental suffering, being registered its entrance in this challenging area around the year of 1946.
