Résumé:
Industrial Districts consist in a development strategy that directly uses environmental resources, aiming to structure the production system, increase local employment and improve the living standards of the population, causing impacts that affect the physical, biological and anthropic environment. The municipality of Pombal-PB witnesses a moment of expectation due to the implementation of an industrial district in the urban area. This paper aimed to identify and assess the environmental impacts arising from the installation of an industrial district in the municipality of Pombal-PB and to propose indicate environmental control measures. For executing of the studyit was made the description of the project with the main actions to be developed, as well as simplified environmental diagnosis of the area of influence. The identification of environmental impacts was conducted for the phases of planning, implementation and operation, in that were used the methods used for environmental impact assessment: Ad Hoc, Checklist and Matrix Interaction. According to the results, 32 impacts were identified, 71% negatives and 29% positives. The negative impacts were identified mainly in the physical and biotic environment to the implementation phase. The positive impacts were predictedto the anthropic environment during the operation phase. The main environmental control measures were suggested for all impacts, such as deforestation and land clearing and degradation of the areas occupied by deposits and lending area, and enable a reduction in the potentials impact the project. This search will serve as a basis for further environmental study for this project.
